Q2 2024 Fitness App Trends in Latin America: Android's Top Performers

In Q2 2024, the fitness and weight loss app category on Android saw varied performances among its top contenders in Latin America. Data sourced from Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of how these apps fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a fluctuating trend in downloads, peaking at 50.9K in the final week of June. Weekly active users showed a general increase, ending with 1.37M in the last week. Revenue trends saw a slight decline, finishing at around $34K.

Fitia - Diet & Meal Planner from Peru also displayed a mixed trend. Downloads descended to 29K in early May, later climbing to 34.4K by the end of June. Active users reflected a slight upward trend, reaching 134K. Revenue, however, dipped to approximately $13K by the quarter's end.

BetterMe: Health Coaching saw downloads oscillate, with a notable increase to 51.4K in early June. Active users peaked at 190K in mid-June but then dropped to 169.6K. Revenue trends showed a decrease, with the app earning around $13K in the last week of the quarter.

WELLTECH APPS LIMITED's Yoga-Go: Yoga For Weight Loss had a sharp decrease in downloads from 58.7K in the first week of April to 8.5K by the end of June. Weekly active users saw a decline, finishing at around 50K. Revenue also showed a downward trend, ending at close to $7.7K.

Lastly, YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter from Germany presented a more positive picture, with downloads increasing to 47.8K in the first week of June before a slight drop to 35.9K. Active users reached a peak of 715.8K in early June. Revenue remained relatively steady, with a slight increase to around $12.7K by the quarter's close.
